When I think about Battenhall’s journey to where we are now as a global and industry-leading independent social media agency, I have to pinch myself. From our humble beginnings in an east London co-working space with just one desk for one employee (me!), we’re now in eight countries, have a global team of over 120, and a star-studded cast of clients that my pre-Battenhall self would have died for. 

Now comes the next stage of our journey. Our HQ has always been a cornerstone for the Battenhall business, where we bring together so much of our global work in-person. But it’s also become so much more than an office. It’s evolved over time, co-designed by all of us, to reflect everything from how we collaborate to where we spend time together. 

The new Battenhall HQ has been designed to be a place that brings the best out of our diverse team. When we last moved almost a decade ago, we were a small agency of less than 20 people. We’re now more than five times the size, and this latest step in our expansion reflects our growth, maturity and ambition.

Battenhall Studios

In 2024 we launched our full-service content production unit, Battenhall Studios. Over the past two years it has grown to over 50 specialists, who make up our production unit, offering social media production, design, creative, photography, videography, insights and AR services, along with a dedicated space in London for influencer and creator brand collaborations.

Battenhall Labs

Earlier this year, we rolled out a new Labs division, where we develop, test and launch our cutting-edge, experimental technologies. Our work covers everything from AI and GEO accelerating social media analytics and brand visibility, to the development of client dashboards, road-testing new social network technologies, and more.

Social spaces for social-first work

We’ve created spaces for the whole company to socialise together in a natural way, congregating around our dining area and breakout areas at lunch and for special events. These spaces grew organically in our previous offices, but we’ve designed the whole workplace around them now. They foster togetherness and an inclusive culture, and help us to collaborate and deliver industry-leading social-first work.
